History
Unomori Shrine is located in the Hamada district of Yokkaichi City, Mie Prefecture. The shrine crest is a left-facing triple comma (hidari mitsudomoe), and the precincts span over 1,200 tsubo. During the Edo period it was known as Eta Shrine and was regarded as a candidate site for the ancient Mie District shrine listed in the Engishiki. Serving as a guardian deity of Yokkaichi for centuries, it continues to be deeply revered by the local community for blessing commerce and daily life.
