History

Byakko

Sagamihara Seishin Hikawa Jinja is the guardian deity enshrined in a relatively new residential area. As the name Hikawa Jinja indicates, it follows the lineage of Musashi Ichinomiya Hikawa Jinja and enshrines Susanoo no Mikoto. Built alongside new urban development, it continues to watch over the safety and prosperity of local residents. While embracing modern living, it faithfully preserves the ancient Shinto spirit—a community-oriented shrine worthy of its name "Seishin," offering visitors a pure and fresh experience.
