Sana Shrine is located in Nitta, Taki Town, Taki District, Mie Prefecture, and was formerly a prefectural-ranked shrine. The principal deity enshrined here is Ame-no-Tajikarao-no-Mikoto, who is also worshipped as one of the deities in the inner sanctuary of Ise Grand Shrine. This deep connection with Ise is reflected in the shrine buildings, which have been reconstructed using materials donated from Ise Grand Shrine. Manabatahimenokami is also enshrined in the same hall. Nestled in rich natural surroundings, the shrine has long received worshippers praying for a bountiful harvest, family safety, and protection from misfortune.
