What I shall tell you about is Yugyōji, the head temple of the Ji-shū sect. This temple was founded by Ippen Shōnin and is a sacred site of the Ji-shū sect, which spread the practice of chanting the Nembutsu by traveling throughout Japan. Numerous halls and buildings stand within the vast precincts, exuding a sense of historical weight. As a place associated with Yugyō Shōnin, it attracts many believers from all over the country. It is said to bring widespread blessings, including the fulfillment of wishes, world peace, and family safety. It would also be good to ponder the ancient history in this serene space.
