Gokō-gū

The kami of the sea, worshipped since ancient times, hears the prayers of fishermen on the Seto Inland Sea breezes. Like five fragrant offerings, diverse blessings flow from the sea through divine grace. The fishing community has long known prosperity and safe passage under this kami's protection. Those grateful for the sea's abundance receive blessings of safety and abundant harvests. This is a shrine of the eternal sea's wisdom.
