Jizoji

Jizoji is a temple located in Hayashihigashi, Rakan, Itano Town. This temple enshrines Jizo Bodhisattva as its principal deity and has long been cherished as a guardian kami for children. Jizo Bodhisattva is a compassionate deity who brings salvation to all beings across the six realms of existence, and it has gathered the devout faith of parents especially hoping for the healthy growth of their children. As a warm place of faith rooted in this community, it continues to be loved by many people today.
