History
Tada Jinja, enshrined in Kawanishi, is a venerable shrine that has long received the respect of the warrior class as the birthplace of the Genji clan. Dedicated to Minamoto no Toshikane, it is said that his descendants, including Minamoto no Raiko and Yoritomo, also made pilgrimages here. Revered as a guardian deity of warriors, the shrine is believed to grant strength to face life's challenges and contests. The solemn atmosphere of the grounds conveys the pride and spirit of the samurai, bestowing upon visitors a strong heart and courage.
