Shimosawa Kuni-no-miya Jinja

This Futatsumiya Shrine of Shimosa Province, as I know it, is a historic shrine with a history passed down in this area since ancient times. It is said to have been founded in the Heian period and has been worshipped as the guardian deity of this land since antiquity. The principal deities are Kunitsuchi-no-Mikoto and Kunisatsuchi-no-Mikoto. The shrine grounds are quiet, surrounded by lush trees, offering solace to visitors.
