History

Byakko

Kashii Miya is a venerable shrine dedicated to Empress Jingu and Emperor Chūai. It is an ancient shrine recorded in both the Kojiki and Nihon Shoki, and it is said that Empress Jingu offered prayers for victory at this location during her conquest of the Three Kingdoms. The grounds are filled with ancient trees exceeding a thousand years in age, creating a mystical atmosphere. The distinctive 'Kashii-zukuri' architectural style, which is rare throughout the nation, evokes the weight of history. As a shrine receiving imperial ritual, it has received deep reverence from the imperial court and continues to welcome numerous pilgrims as a sacred site of imperial connection in Kyushu.

桜が咲いていて神社とのコラボがとても素敵でした。参拝後の帰りに鯉のエサがあってあげていたら、鳩の軍団がやって来てほとんどのエサを食べられました。 鯉のエサやりは気をつけてくださいね。
