Miyaji-dake Jinja is an ancient shrine enshrined in Fukutsu, renowned nationwide as a shrine of good fortune. Dedicated to Empress Jingu and the deities Katsumura and Katsuyori, it is particularly famous for the mystical "Path of Light" that stretches in a straight line from the approach through to the sea, captivating many visitors. Known for the divine virtue of "overcoming all obstacles," the shrine grants people the strength to face life's difficulties. The grounds also house Japan's largest sacred rope and drum, whose grandeur deeply moves visitors. The Path of Light visible at sunset is truly a gift from the divine.
