History
Shirasaki Hachiman Jinja is a venerable Hachiman shrine enshrined in Imaizucho, Iwakuni. The Hachiman deity has long been revered as the god of martial fortune and has been cherished as a guardian deity of the local community in this land. Walking alongside the development of Iwakuni, this shrine has a history of continually watching over the safety and prosperity of the people. Rooted in the Imazu region and serving as a warm shrine that listens to the wishes of all believers, it has been continuously loved by many worshippers.

境内は小高い丘の上にあり、急坂を車で登り切ると大型駐車場があります。障害者用スペースも完備し、エレベーターも設置されているため足の不自由な方も参拝しやすい構造です。
「融通の神」として知られ、境内には錦川の伏流水を地下131mから汲み上げた御神水「白崎の水」があり飲用可能です。社殿裏手に十二支の像が並び、龍が石の中を泳ぐ立体的な彫り物や白蛇の石碑など見逃しやすいスポットが点在します。
切り絵御朱印を頒布しており、令和7年開始のものは過去頒布の「岩国錦帯橋切り絵御朱印」と重ね合わせると絵柄が完成する仕掛けになっています。
