History
Komikado Jinja is a shrine dedicated to Komikado Uemon-no-jo, a loyal retainer of the Southern and Northern Courts period. This warrior is known for his unwavering devotion to Emperor Go-Daigo and his contributions to the Kenmu Restoration. The spirit of Komikado-ko, who upheld loyalty and justice, has touched the hearts of many and he has come to be revered as a deity of learning and justice. Standing quietly in Narita, this shrine receives the sincere prayers of its worshippers.
