Byakko

An ancient shrine enshrined on Hatsushima island in Izu, known as a village with deep faith in the fire deity. The fishermen of Hatsushima held devout faith and prayed for safety at sea and abundance of catch. In this environment surrounded by fierce waves, it continues to protect many through its unchanging divine power. Even now, many visitors come to Hatsushima seeking the protection of the fire deity.
