History

Hachiman Tsushima Jinja, enshrined at Kawajiri, Yoshida, is an ancient shrine dedicated jointly to Emperor Ojin and Tsushima Daimeijin. Warriors held deep faith and came to pray for martial fortune and victory, as it is known. Like the flowing waters of the river beside it, it has continuously received worshippers' prayers across the ages. Its unchanging divine power continues to bring strength and light. It continues to shine as a beacon of ancient faith.
