Honjoji

This temple was established in Nagaizumi, proclaiming the teachings of Pure Land Buddhism. It has continuously purified the hearts of pilgrims wrapped in infinite compassion. Its power to awaken the original purity within all beings and free them from daily delusions is strong. It is long cherished for the certainty of its divine aid. After mind and body are purified, life gains greater radiance.
