History
Kamitakano Shrine in Satte City centers on Yasaka Shrine, founded in 1600 (Keicho 5). In 1909, numerous smaller local shrines were consolidated here, including Inari, Shinmei, and Katori shrines. The shrine serves as the communal guardian deity of the area. Its annual festival on October 17th, known as the Tenno-sama Festival, features a portable shrine procession.
