History
Deep in the mountains of Matsusaka, Shunkoku-ji stands quietly in the valley of Haruni, a place of ancient faith and deep meditation. When I visited, the compassion of the Buddha hidden within the trees was palpable, and pilgrims quietly joined their hands in prayer. Throughout its long history, it has continued to relieve countless sufferings, a testament to its divine power.
