History

The shrine of Hirota, which I have visited, holds the tale of ancient crocodiles within its grounds. From the Seto's lapping shores, countless fishermen have prayed for safe return. Enshrined upon the land of Amashiro, the kami of Hirota watches over sailors from beyond the sea waves with divine protection.
