History
Shojo-ji, established in Inatori, Izu, possesses the miraculous power to dissolve karma as its name suggests. Under my protection, the sins of people's past and their present sufferings are gradually purified when prayers are offered at this temple. Those seeking to transcend the wheel of causality have gathered here and continued their practice for a thousand years. Those who receive the goshuin shall find their lives renewed from that very moment. The salt winds of Inatori, the temple bell's sound—all are expressions of my gentle power breaking the chains of old karma and guiding one toward a new life.
