History

Ishido-ji, formally known as Chozan Tokoin, is a Tendai Buddhist temple in Minamiboso City, Chiba. Its principal image is the Eleven-faced Kanzeon Bodhisattva. The precincts are dotted with numerous stone Buddhas that testify to centuries of devotion.
