Kanayama Shrine

The shrine dedicated to the metalworking and industry that have long flourished in Atsuta, Nagoya. Since ancient times, blacksmiths and craftsmen have offered their prayers here. The hammer's strike, the forge's heat, the beauty of worked metal—all are seen as expressions of the divine craft. Even today, those engaged in metalwork and industry come to seek advancement in their skills. Just as metal is tempered and refined, so too must the human heart be cultivated—a truth enshrined here.
