Hogan-in

This temple is an ancient temple nestled in a quiet mountain area. When I was a child, I reminisced while listening to the temple's bell. It is said to have been founded in the Kamakura period and is a place where many ascetic monks studied throughout its long history. It is particularly said to have benefits for academic success and passing exams, attracting many students and their guardians. The tranquil precincts and the atmosphere that evokes a sense of history are its charms.
