Situated at the mysterious location of the second station of Mount Fuji at an elevation of 1,700 meters, this is a rare Sengen shrine located in the mountains found throughout Japan. It enshrines Konohanasakuya Hime no Mikoto and has long been revered as a sacred site where one can directly feel the spiritual power of Mount Fuji. Located at a spectacular vantage point overlooking Lake Kawaguchi, the shrine grounds enveloped in Mount Fuji's nature are filled with a sacred atmosphere.
