Fumonji

Fumonji takes its name from the concept of Kannon's 'universal gate' – the infinite pathways to salvation. Located in Shimo-Mikao, Noda, the temple welcomes all seekers regardless of their circumstances. Throughout the centuries, pilgrims have entered through these gates carrying their hopes and sorrows. The temple's enduring role as a sanctuary of compassion continues to this very day.
