History
Chosho-ji stands in Moto-Gyotoku. As its name indicates, this temple embodies the wish to live long and healthily like the enduring pine tree. Since ancient times, the elderly have visited to live their remaining years more abundantly. Like the pine with its deep roots, this temple maintains its strength through every season, continuously teaching all people the preciousness of life.
