Read as Futahashira Jinja. As the name suggests, this is a shrine dedicated to two deities. It is situated in the natural and verdant Izumi Ward of Sendai. This shrine has long been cherished by the local people, with the two divine spirits watching over them as if holding hands. As can be understood from the name Nihashira, it is a blessed place where one can receive the protection of a pair of deities. Revered by many visitors as a husband-and-wife kami and as a deity that brings good relationships.
