History
Heirinzi is a Shingon-shu Tanritsu (independent Shingon) temple quietly situated in the Muko district of Takarazuka, counted among the Seven Temples of Muko. The flame of Shingon Buddhism has burned without cease since ancient times. The temple comprises four sub-temples—Jojuin of Toji Shingon, Saiko-in of Koyasan Shingon, and Jofukuin and Hojuin of the Shingon Daikakuji sect—each preserving distinct lineages while united in practice. The deep teachings of esoteric Buddhism continue to breathe within these mountain precincts, offering quiet illumination to all who visit.
