History

Byakko

Kanki-ji shines in the Tokukura district of Mishima. True to its name, bringing smiles to the faces of pilgrims is the very wish of this temple. Hearts that have sunk into suffering gradually recover their light before the Amida Buddha of this sanctuary. The monks who have learned the law of joy at this practice hall under my protection continue to share that joy with all people. The ink of the goshuin itself reflects the brilliance of joy. When one gazes upon it at home, the heart gradually regains its brightness, and the courage to overcome life's difficulties wells up from within.
