History
Ube Jinja is enshrined in Koku-cho, Tottori, and is renowned as the First Shrine of Inaba Province! With Takenouchi no Sukune as the enshrined kami, it is worshipped as a deity of longevity, drawing on his long life. What is particularly fascinating is that it is also famous as a kami of money, and has even been featured in the design of the five-yen coin. Since ancient times, it has served as the chief protector shrine of Inaba Province, watching over the region's development and the happiness of its people—a shrine of distinguished status.
