Yokai Jinja is a uniquely charming shrine located in Taisho-cho, Sakaiminato! As befits Sakaiminato, famous for Shigeru Mizuki's "GeGeGe no Kitaro," it is a rare shrine with a yokai theme. There is no need to fear yokai. Rather, yokai protect people and shield them from disaster—a shrine built with such a warm philosophy. Together with Sakaiminato's yokai road, it is a wonderful place beloved by many people, bringing smiles to all who visit.
