History
Kukuhi Shrine is located in Shimomiya, Toyooka City, Hyogo Prefecture. It is listed as a shikinaisha (shrine listed in the Engishiki Jinmyocho) and formerly held the rank of village shrine (sonsha). One of the ancient shrines of the Tajima region, it has long been venerated as a guardian of agriculture and daily life. The shrine continues to receive the prayers of devotees in Toyooka today.
