Suyama Sengen Jinja is enshrined at the southeastern foot of Mount Fuji in Susono, Susono. It enshrines Konohanasakuya-hime and has long been revered as an important center of Mount Fuji faith. The Suyama route flourished as one of the Mount Fuji climbing paths, with many pilgrims departing from here to visit the sacred peak. The grounds, surrounded by beautiful nature, are a sacred place where one can feel the divine presence of Mount Fuji's deity nearby. It is also known for blessings related to safe childbirth and good relationships, attracting many female worshippers.
