Enshouji is a Nichiren sect temple located in Takato, Ina City, Nagano Prefecture. Its mountain name is Myochosan. The temple is renowned as the 'peony temple' (Botandera), celebrated for its spectacular peony blooms that fill the grounds each spring. The Shakado hall and the small multi-storied pagoda within it are designated Important Cultural Properties. Its former head temple was Minobu-san Kuonji. The temple's deep connection to Nichiren Buddhism and its floral tradition have drawn pilgrims and visitors for centuries.
