Myokyoji Temple

Myokyo-ji is a temple of the Hokke sect located in Sukagawa City, Fukushima Prefecture. Rooted in the teachings of the Lotus Sutra, it has served the local community as a center of faith and culture. The name Myokyo refers to the Lotus Sutra itself, whose wisdom and compassion are believed to relieve human suffering. The temple has walked alongside the history of Sukagawa and continues to play an important role as a bearer of regional culture.
