Honrenji is a Nichiren Buddhist temple located in Katase, Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture, with the mountain name Ryukouzan. It is one of the eight temples in the Ryukoiji rotation system, faithfully carrying on the teachings of Saint Nichiren. Its former head temple was the Daihonzan Honkokuji (Rokujo branch), and it belongs to the Ushio-shi lineage. Rooted in the land of Ryuguchi, devout worshippers have long visited to pray for family safety and prosperity of descendants.
