Soganji is an ancient temple of the Shingon-shu Chisan sect located in Kazo, Saitama. Its mountain name is Gyokutouzan, and its principal deity is Fudo Myoo, said to have been carved by Chisho Daishi. Also known as Fudougaoka Fudoson, it is counted among the three great Fudo temples of the Kanto region alongside Naritasan Shinshoji and Takahata Fudoson. It is the 30th temple of the Kanto 36 Fudo Pilgrimage, and is revered for blessings of good fortune, business prosperity, and protection from fire. On the 28th of each month, a fair is held attracting worshippers from across the Kanto region.
