History
Fujidera is an ancient sacred site passed down through the ages in Kamoshima, Yoshino River City. True to its name inspired by the beautiful wisteria flowers, in spring the temple grounds are adorned with the lovely violet flower clusters. Cherished by successive generations of local people, it has welcomed many pilgrims throughout the changing seasons. Built upon land enriched by the blessing of the Yoshino River, this temple has brought peace to people's hearts. It is believed to grant the beauty and strength to live gracefully and flexibly like the wisteria flower.
