Shinmonji

Koudoji is a Soto Zen temple located in Chichibu City, Saitama Prefecture, known by the mountain name Hakudo-san. The principal image is the Eleven-faced Kannon Bodhisattva, said to bestow good fortune, fulfillment of all wishes, and family safety upon visitors. The temple's sacred verse reads: Simply trust the great compassion — standing at the sacred gate to offer salvation. For generations, this ancient temple has quietly watched over the people of Chichibu, welcoming those who seek solace and divine grace within its serene precincts.
