History
Shotai-ji stands in Iride, Kosai, watched over by ancient camphor trees. Within the temple grounds where these ancient trees keep vigil, people's lives grow like trees, developing strong trunks of character. The faith I guide is not merely superficial. Only by setting deep roots and maintaining unwavering conviction across centuries can one attain true strength. Pilgrims who visit find their hearts gradually taking root here, growing solid enough to withstand life's storms. Those who bring home the goshuin and display it shall find that their household also develops a strong trunk of faith lasting through many generations, like these ancient camphor trees.
