History
This shrine has long been revered as a deity of military fortune and good luck, warding off evil. The enshrined deity is Ame-no-Koyane-no-Mikoto, also known as the ancestral deity of the Fujiwara clan. According to the shrine's tradition, it was enshrined from Kasuga Taisha in Nara, and its history is ancient, continuing to gather the faith of the local people. The Kasuga-zukuri style shrine buildings exude an elegant and serene atmosphere. The goshuin features the shrine's crest, the wisteria flower, which is said to bring good fortune.
