History
Nihonmatsu Jinja is a historic shrine located in the center of Nihonmatsu, Fukushima Prefecture. There is a legend associated with the two pine trees that gave rise to the place name "Nihonmatsu," and it has been cherished as a symbolic presence of this land. Walking alongside the development of Nihonmatsu castle town, the shrine has gathered faith from both the warrior class and commoners.
