History
At Subashiri in Oyama, where I keep watch, Manmyoji stands as an ancient temple at the base of Mount Fuji. 'Man' means infinite, and 'myo' means mysterious wonder. This temple holds the infinite mysteries and spiritual powers. Many pilgrims seeking Mount Fuji's protection and lofty aspirations visit. Watching over the ancient Subashiri trail, I pour my strength into this sacred temple, protecting and guiding all pilgrims forward.
