Oshiyama Shrine, enshrined in Nomura, Kameyama City, is an ancient shrine said to have been founded during the reign of Emperor Keiko according to shrine tradition. The principal deity is Oshiyamano-sukune-no-mikoto, said to be a descendant of Takenouchi-no-sukune, revered for his contributions to the development of this region. During the Edo period, the lords of Kameyama domain offered their veneration, and records of shrine construction remain. Even today, the autumn grand festival draws local residents to pray for abundant harvests and family well-being.
