This shrine is a historic shrine that has been revered since ancient times as the fourth shrine of Sagami Province. The enshrined deities are five in number, including Okinaganashime-no-Mikoto (Empress Jingu). The precincts are spacious and surrounded by greenery, creating a quiet and calm atmosphere. It is believed to bring benefits such as family safety, exorcism, and traffic safety, attracting not only local people but also visitors from afar. It is also used for life's milestones such as Shichi-Go-San and Hatsumiya Mairi.
