History
Goshō Jinja is a shrine located in Zaimokuza, Kamakura, which has long been familiar to the local people. Its founding is said to date back to the Heian period, and it enshrines five deities. The main deities include Oyama Kuri no Mikoto and four others, who are believed to grant family safety, business prosperity, and maritime safety. The shrine grounds have a quiet and calm atmosphere, and being close to the sea, it also gathered the faith of fishermen in ancient times. The goshuin conveys the power of the five deities.
