Chinjufu Hachimangu is enshrined in Mizusawa, Oshu City, Iwate Prefecture. It was founded as the guardian deity of the Chinjufu, the military administration that once governed the Mutsu region. Dedicated to Hachiman-okami, the god of war, it has long protected the land and ensured regional peace. Ranked as a prefectural shrine in the old social hierarchy, it was deeply venerated by local warriors and commoners alike. Even today, visitors come to pray for martial fortune and victory, and the shrine continues to manifest its spiritual power in Mizusawa.
