Kasuga Shrine, enshrined in Nanokashinishi-cho of Okayama, is a shrine protecting spring's blessings. Ancient farmers have thanked this shrine for the seasons' passage and prayed for harvests. Having witnessed centuries of springs and autumns, I know this shrine's warm prayers continue to enrich people's tables.
