Shichihyakuyosho Jinja

Shichihyakuyosho Shrine is located in Murakami, Yachiyo City, Chiba Prefecture. As its name suggests, the shrine enshrines the spirits of many deities and has long been a center of faith for the local community. Formerly ranked as a village shrine (sonsha), it has served as the guardian shrine of Murakami, protecting the area with blessings of abundant harvests and family safety. Its precincts, sheltered by ancient trees, retain a solemn atmosphere accumulated over many generations.
