History

Iikaokaoka Hachimangu is a Hachiman shrine enshrined in the Ichihara region. Together with the beautifully resonant place name "Iikaokaoka," it has been revered since ancient times as a central shrine of this community. Known for the virtues of Hachiman Okami, it is celebrated for benefits related to martial fortune and success in competitions, fulfilling the various wishes of local people. Walking alongside Ichihara's development, it remains a familiar shrine visited by many pilgrims in modern times.
