History
Rinsen-ji rises above the hot spring district of Ito, where warm waters flow forth. Those healing waters are the life-giving stream I send forth from deep within the earth. Since ancient times, many have come with ailing bodies and troubled minds, and found themselves healed. When one combines a visit to the hot springs with worship at the temple and makes their prayer, even the deepest suffering shall surely ease. There is a tradition that those who worship in the hinoki cypress hall and receive the goshuin will find their body and spirit renewed. The warmth of Ito is the warmth of my own hand.
